"Johnny" ~ Travelin Johnny Cash #03-80105 DNA Tested; V-Factor of 88

Johnny is a 4 yr old Missouri Fox Trotter, and while he still has some maturing to do, he's proving himself to be a quiet, good-natured young man. He's very laid back and a no-nonsense kind of guy. The natural, common-sense type behavior we've come to adore in the breed we own and love.

While not a big horse at only 14.2H, he's certainly big on presence! He has a very nice, long-strided flat walk that makes you struggle to keep up with. Johnny also has a lovely foxtrot with all the head-bob and shake that exceeds what I was ever expecting from him. Add to this a true rocking horse canter that takes your breath away, along with a beautiful, thick, flowing mane and a tail that drags the ground just a bit and... it all sums up his overall beauty and grace.

He will be offered to a limited number of mares next spring. Waiting will allow me to get some training into him. Putting him under saddle wasn't "part of the grander scheme of things" (then again, getting a stallion wasn't really either) with everything else that's been happening in our busy lives, but I figured he'd be better off with it than without. I'd also like to show him a little in Performance and /or Model and see how he does. Course, that may be a ways off yet for me.

He is E/e (evident from breeding), and I'll have him color tested soon to see if he carries any other color variables such as Sabino. More about Johnny as he matures, goes through training and information on stud fees coming later...
